Seagull Maritime has become the first overseas company to secure training centre approval from the Panama Maritime Authority following the PMA’s 2014 change of leadership. The approval process included a two‐day inspection of Seagull Maritime’s Horten, Norway facilities by three PMA staff.
With bulk carrier safety once more a focus for regulators, Seagull Maritime’s Bulker Industry Training Standard (BITS) offers the sector’s first cohesive, structured package designed to develop safety-critical crew knowledge and competence.
In Q4 2014 we released 7 new, 19 revised and 6 customer specific CBT titles which are now added to our comprehensive library of Computer Based Training (CBT) modules, available onboard and online.
