Featuring news, advice and items of interest from across the marine industry, Seagull Bulletin articles have been popular amongst seafarers using the Seagull Training Administrator (STA) or visiting the Seagull website since its launch in November 2017.
Seafarers with access to the Seagull Training App can now access the Bulletin as part of the Notification section. Providing relevant maritime news and updates right in their pocket, the data usage through the app is also at a minimum as Seagull have taken bandwith issues into consideration when designing this feature.

MISC’s SERI BEGAWAN rescues a fisherman stranded for 20 days at sea.
" A Filipino fisherman stranded in the middle of the North Pacific Ocean, more than 400 nautical miles from Philippines coast, was rescued on Saturday, 26 May 2018 thanks to the efforts of the crew of MISC’s LNG vessel, SERI BEGAWAN. The vessel is operated by MISC’s integrated marine services arm, Eaglestar. After 20 days adrift at sea, the distressed fisherman was found stranded on a small boat by SERI BEGAWAN during her voyage from Gladstone, Australia to Beihai, China….."
