Details

Liquid cargoes can be very hazardous if it is not handled correctly and suitable protective equipment is used. Discussing such topics as general properties and chemical symbols and structures, this module includes themes listed in STCW Code cp. V section A-V/1.1-1.4.  There is also a section covering hazards associated with common chemicals.
