The Ability Profiling program (APRO) is a psychometric assessment program developed to be used as a support tool during recruitment of junior seafarers and the screening of students for maritime studies. The program was developed in a research and development program headed by the Norwegian Marine Technology Research Institute and was supported by University in Oslo, DNV, and the shipping industry.

Key Functions:

• Integrated part of STA Online.
• Consist of seven tests which all must be completed in one session.
• Developed and quality assured by Norwegian Marine Technology Research Institute and University of Oslo.
• Generates automatic test reports with measures of accuracy and speed of responses.
