Seagull AS announces the opening of the Seagull Japan office, headed by Mr. Toshinobu Yamasaki.

The chairman of Seagull AS, Mr. Oscar Johansen, formally opened the Yokohama office on March 15, 2009.  He welcomed this further strengthening of our presence in the Asian market, noting that the new office has been strategically located to provide additional support and services in Japan, which is part of the company’s global marketing strategy.

Mr. Toshinobu Yamasaki, a graduate of Yuge National College of Merchant Marine, will be heading the new Asian office. With more than 20 years experience in the maritime field, Mr. Yamasaki will be a valuable addition to the Seagull team.
